Happy 5th Birthday Roxy

 Hi Everyone,

This week's card is made for my niece who is turning 5!

She loves mermaids and what better collection to work with then the Polkadoodle's Mermazing kit.

I started by puchasing the coloured image from the Polkadoodle's website (I didn't have time to colour my own image).

I then took the image into the Silhouette design store and got to work designing the base card.

I purchased the seashell cutting file from the Silhouette store by designer Planeta Silhouette, it is actually a seashell mini album, so I adapted one of the pages for the base of my card.

I then decorated the base card with the Polkadoodle's co-ordinating papers from the Mermazing collection.

I am going to enter this card in the following Polkadoodle's challenges :

Congratulations On Your Baby Girl

 Hi everyone,

This week I have made a card for my brother in law and his girlfriend, they are welcoming their first baby.

I love this topper it is called rows and rows of baby grows and is from the Hunkydory Usb 5.

I designed the baby grow, booties and bib using the Silhouette design software. I then cut them out using coordinating papers, and using some wooden pegs I attached them to the topper.

I then cut out the bow using the cameo and a cutting file that I purchased from the Silhouette store.

I hope you like it.

Happy Birthday Brother

 Hi Everyone,

This week I have made a card using my Silhouette Cameo and design software.

I purchased the mororbike cutting file from the design store, the artist is Studio Ilustrado I then set to work making the base card.

I started by making an offset of the motorbike, I then proceeded to write the word brother and placed the letters on the offset base, I then welded them together.

Once welded I then made another copy which I fliped verticallly and then welded the two offset pieces together to make a folded card.

I hope you like it!

With Deepest Sympathy Handmade Card

 Hi Everyone.

This weeks card is made for my friend, unfortunatly her mother passed away this week.

Sympathy cards, I find are the hardest cards to make.

I started with a white 8x8 card blank, and using Kraft card I cut out my new circle cutting file from the Silhouette storeby designer Studio Iluustrado.

I embossed a piece of white card using one of my embossing folders I think it was from Crafters Companion but unfortunatly I have no packaging with the name on.

I matt and layered the embossed piece with Kraft card and then using 3d foam pads I mounted the circle frame.

I cut the sentiment out of Kraft card, this again is another cuting file purchased from the design store by Jamile Lee Designs, Using 3d foam pads I placed the sentiment within the circle frame.

I have decided to enter this into the freshly made sketches challenge FMS 471, details can be found here:
