Handmade Valentines Card

 Hi Everyone,

This week I thought I would get cracking on some Valentines cards.

I designed the base card using my Silhouette Studio software and cut it out using my Cameo.

I layered the card up with hearts cut from the backing papers from the Polkadoodles Work & Play, Love & Kisses cd rom.

I print and cut the coloured characters from the Polkadoodles Sticks & Bones download kit and I thought the images looked very sweet for valentines.

I then made the shaker element using a heart frame and added sequins and mealic hearts.

I hope I have helped inspire you and I am going to enter my card to the following polkadoodles chalenges:

Handmade Baby Boy Card

 Hi Everyone,

This week I have made a card and nappy cake for a new baby boy.

The image is called rows and rows of baby grows from Hunkdory usb key 5

The gingham backing papers are from the dreamees back to basics cd rom.

I cut the baby grow, bib and socks from cordinating card using my Silhouette Cameo and attached mini craft pegs.

I finished the card with a bow which was also cut with my Silhouette Cameo.

For the nappy cake I rolled 100 nappies and formed a 3 tier wedding type cake.

Inside the cake I put baby talc, lotion and all over wash. I finished the cake with ribbon and a handknitted baby teddy.

A perfect gift and card for the new arrival!

Outstanding Orchids Handmade Cards

 Hi Everyone,

This week I have made a card using the Tattered Lace floral decoupage usb 1.

From the usb I used the charisma and cutting file outstanding orchid.

Using the brother scan n cut I cut the file out and using my scissors I cut out the parts of the die that I wanted to use for my card and created the decoupage.

I then made a 8"x 8" easel card base and mat and latered the card with co-ordinating coloured papers.

To add texture I used the floral wonder embossing folder from the vintage floral collection by Crafters Companion.

For the centerpiece I foiled a sentiment from the cd that came with my Patsy May foiling machine and then I used a Silhouette cutting file from the Silhouette design store.

I hope you like what I have created.

Happy Birthday Dad

Hi Everyone,

Happy new year!

This year I am going to try and start blogging every week (hopefully).

So I am going to start this year off with a card for my dad.

He is a big Only Fools & Horses fan and I remembered years ago buying a card making cd which was perfect for what I was looking for.

First off I printed the decoupage from the Mimic cd by The Card Hut, this cd is brilliant and as a great range of celebs to make cards with.

I then printed off some yellow card and using a cutting file from Cocopopart (also purchased a few years ago) I set to work to making my base card.

After some modifications in my Silhouette software I cut out the base and distressed it using some black ink.

I finished the card as always with a handmade box and tissue paper.

Happy Birthday Dad!

I hope you enjoy my card and I will see you next week.

Card Measures Approx. 18 x 6.5 Inches
