Congratulations Wendy & Graham

Hi Everyone,

This week's card is for my sister-in-law who is getting married today!

The colour theme of the wedding is gold, green and white so I set to work making the card

Using my Silhouette cameo I cut out the lace frame using Centura Pearl card stock hint of gold.

The frame came from a Tattered Lace USB called Echoes Of Lace

I then layered the frame onto gold paper and using one of many embossing folders I embossed the swirl background.

Using my M1 laser cutter I cut out the main image of the couple using some 3mm plywood

The couple image is also from a Tattered Lace USB called All Occasions

I then finished the card with a foiled sentiment

Congratulations Wendy & Graham, I wish you a life time of happiness xx

So Sorry For Your Loss

 Hi Everyone,

This weeks card is unfortunately for a friend at work who died recently. I decided to make a sympathy card for his daughter and her husband instead of sending flowers.

He was such a great guy and we shared many laughs over the years.

RIP Mick x

Welcome To Your New Home

 Hi Everyone,

This week I have made a decorative picture for a new neighbor,

I found the design on Creative Fabrica and set to work cutting the design out on my Xtool M1 laser cutter.

I then painted the background with acrylic paint which finished it off nicely

Happy 30th Birthday Lauren

Hi Everyone,

This week's card is made for a colleagues niece Lauren for her 30th birthday.

I had the idea right away that I wanted to do a design with a cocktail glass, and then I thought it would be good idea to be able to add liquid to incorporate movement.

Using my Silhouette cameo and software, I designed the card and cut all the layers out to make a water shaker card.

This technique can be very tricky especially because it could leak and ruin the whole design!

Using a laminating pouch I cut out the glass part and sealed it using my kitchen vacuum sealer machine with a small piece remaining open I then filled it with clear hair gel, confetti stars and glitter and then went on to seal the remainder of the pouch. the stem of the glass I filed with pink sequins and finished with a bow.

A very nerve wracking but fun card to make!!!

Happy Father's Day

 Hi Everyone,

This Week I have made a card and a cup for my dad for father's day

I purchased and downloaded the image from Doctor Digi website you can download it here:

www.doctor-digi.com - Weekend Walter Colour

Using my new printer Epson 8550 and also Koala matt photo paper I set to work printing out the backing papers and image.

I printed the image multiple times so I could fussy cut and create decoupage layers.

I prefer to fussy cut the images by hand instead of using my Silhouette machine.

For the cup I downloaded the image from Creative Fabrica and sublimated it using my printer and cricut cup press, and then i had a good idea to take the image into chat GPT to give it a more professional background.

Happy father's day.

Happy 9th Birthday Twins

 Hi Everyone,

This week I have made two cards,  one for my niece and one for my nephew,

Starting with my nephew first I made him a card using monster truck images purchased from Creative Fabrica.

I set to work designing my base card using my Silhouette Cameo software.

I then cut the pieces out using my new Silhouette Cameo 5 Alpha.

I wanted this card to incorporate spinning wheels, lights and also make it into a shaker card using hobby sand which I think went very well with the design.

My second card for my niece was made using images of K-Pop purchased from Etsy.com, again using my Silhouette Cameo software I designed the base card and cut all the pieces out.

I incorporated multi coloured fairy lights and also made it a shaker card inserting lots of confetti and sequins

Happy Birthday Eli & Sienna

Congratulations On Your Wedding Day!

 Hi Everyone,

This week I was commissioned to make a card for a colleagues wedding.

I really wanted to do a floating panel card as I knew it would give the wow factor when the recipient opened it.

But the problem was I wanted to make it big.....8 inches by 8 inches big.

All the tutorials I found on You Tube were firstly measured in centimeters and only approximately 5 inches x 5 inches size.

Tricky but with a little math and a few tries I managed to make a perfect prototype 8 inches by 8 inches big!

The now husband said is wife to be loves sunflowers and wildlife so I knew I had the perfect digital kit in my stash.

I found out later that the wedding incorporated a bohemian style theme and I think this card really fitted in, I must be psychic 😊

I wish you both a very happy long marriage

Like many children she loves K POP so I purchased some files from Etsy and set to work making the biggest card I have ever made!

I even added little fairy lights to give the card a disco vibe.

 Hi Everyone,

This week is my one of my dearests friend Angela's 60th birthday.

I wanted to make obviously a handmade card and also a special gift!

I have recently been hypnotised with candle making so I thought why not give that a try. As a crafter there is always something I don't have and want to try!

I hope/know she is thrilled too bits with the card and gift, and I was honoured to be able to do my very first candle bouquet for her.
